About the New Chitose Airport Onsen

The New Chitose Airport Onsen is a hot spring facility where you can relax your body and mind while travelling. Recover from fatigue in the high-quality natural hot springs, and feel even more refreshed by using the sauna. Everyone can enjoy the facilities to their heart's content. We look forward to your visit.

Precautions for Use

  • *Outside food and beverages are strictly prohibited.
  • *Entry is strictly refused to those with tattoos or stickers resembling tattoos, those affiliated with organized crime, and those who are intoxicated.
  • *Children still in diapers are not permitted to use the large baths.
  • *The large baths are divided by gender from 7 years of age and older.
  • *Please note that persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to enter the facility alone.
  • *Please ensure that you are accompanied by a guardian when using this facility (both for day visits and overnight stays). (Persons under the age of 18 cannot enter alone).

New Chitose Airport Facility Access

The New Chitose Airport Onsen is located at the Oasis Park in the domestic terminal on the 4th floor of the New Chitose Airport. The facility is across from the New Chitose Airport Theater.

How to Access

Entering the Facility

Entering the Facility

After completing the entry procedures at the reception desk, you will receive your locker key, towel, and other amenities. Select your own facility wear from the area in front of the reception desk. Food and relaxation fees will be charged when you leave the facility by using the barcode on your locker key.

Exiting the Facility

When you wish to leave, please pay by hold the barcode on your locker key over the payment machine. You select from cash, credit card, or QR code payment as your payment method. Groups of multiple people can also pay individually.

About the Facility Wear

You can choose between a Samue and a Yukata for the facility wear.

Sizes: S to XXL for men and women. The pants are unisex. The outerwear patterns vary for men and women.
Samue is a traditional Japanese workwear worn by monks and craftsmen, and it is also popular as loungewear or homewear.

Sizes: S 120 to 140 cm (women only), L 160 to 175 cm, XL 175 to 185 cm, XXL 185+ cm
Yukata is a traditional, light Japanese garment with a cool and comfortable feeling that is often worn at summer festivals and hot springs.

How to Bathe in Hot Springs

Be sure to wash your body before entering the bath. Place your towel at the edge of the bath or on top of your head to ensure that it does not enter the bath.

Textiles are not permitted in the hot springs, so please remove your clothes here. Store your clothes in a locker, and ensure that it is locked. Bathing in swimsuits is not permitted. It is strictly prohibited to bring electronic devices such as smartphones and cameras into the large baths. Please leave them in the lockers.
